Emily always had a fear of people that have much bigger roles than her so she stayed shy around those. She never stated her opinion around teachers, always afraid to ask where what is at the mall, too shy to say 'Hello!' to people she barely knows or wants to get to know.
 But oh boy is she out-going and hyperactove around her friends! She always cracks a joke and gets a smile, puts her full opinion around, does oh so stupid things.
Emily's curiousity always gets the best of her when she's alone. A weird looking bag in her mothers room? Check what's in it. In a friends house while the friend is in the bathroom? Snoop around their room. If she's dedicated she will find out.
Besides being shy and overly curious Emily loves making friends and if she does she tries to only show her best traits to them. She tries to share, show kindness, be loyal, honest and cheer them up if they feel down.
Okay, Emily might like frilly dresses and pink skirts but she will always be a tomboy. Besides all of her girl friends she's not scared to be with guys and show her true form. Loud burps, video games and junk foods? Always count Emily in.

What happens when a human finds out that he just made a child with a mythical creature?
Emotion storms.
And then what a normal person like Emily does?
Curls up in a ball and silently cries in her room.

Let's admit, it's hard having parents that are entirely two different species and you end up being a mix of both. Emily has a human dad and a mom that is a siren. Weird, huh?

"Couldn't you tell me earlier?!" "I wasn't sure how you'll react!" "Probably easier because I wouldn't have a child back then!"
Loud screams echoed in the first floor.

'Do they love me? Do they want me? Probably not'

Emily sighed. Her being half of that and half of that isn't helping. She isn't normal because she isn't fully human. She isn't a siren because she isn't fully one. Although she has showed how amazing her voice can be it still makes her feel weird when she sings.

'I'm not a siren. I can't control people with my singing'.

'I'm not human. I can't live here'.

Emily took her backpack and packed all the nesscessary things that she might need to survive and left. Did her parents notice her leaving? No because they were still arguing. Did their neighbours notice a 5 year old child leaving alone? No, because the world is messed up.

'Let's see how I can control humans'.

I can't do things that they can! *She curled up in a ball* I'm nothing. I'm a weird hybrid abomination that's officially useless. *Her eyes snapped open* U-Unless... Unless... Please make me a potion! That'll make me one! A siren! I want to be a siren! Not half-human half-siren. J-Just siren!

Emily turned and glared, her hair was blowing in the wind. "I don't want to talk about my parents! I never want to talk about them! Is it so hard to understand?" She slid down the wall and burried her face in her hands. "I-I don't want to hear another word from you. I already know I'm not normal". Her voice cracked. "I don't need you to put an emphasis on it!" She started crying silently. "I don't want you making fun of me... Of all people... Just not you".
